Engineering Services – Conversion Of The Mew V Dam Route (Renovation) Planning Services. The Section Of The Dam To Be Renovated (Km 5.8-6.2; Right Bank Side) Of The Müritz-Elde Waterway (Mew) Is Located In The Findens’Shier-Maliß Section Near Neu Kaliss. The Dam Is Owned By The Federal Waterways And Shipping Administration (Wsv) And Is Maintained By The Elbe Waterways And Shipping Authority (Wsa), Formerly Lauenburg. In The North, The Dam Structure Protects Adjacent Residential Developments. It Is Accessible Through The Residential Area Via Two Public Paths, But Is Currently Not Passable. There Is An Old Arm With A Weir System In The Construction Area. There Is Also A Kindergarten Adjacent To The Dam In The Immediate Vicinity Of The Oxbow, Which Results In Limited Space. The Side Facing Away From The Water Has Heavy Tree Cover, With Mostly Ailing Trees And Burrowing Activity. On The Water Side, The Bank Is Secured By Pile Packages. Due To The Limited Space Available, Sensible Variants, Preferably Securing With A Sheet Pile Wall, Should Be Examined. Aims Of The Service, General Task The Engineering Services Serve The Goal Of Permanently And Economically Renovating The Dam Section. This Is Intended To Ensure The Stability And Usability Of The Dam Section And Thus Its Functionality In The Coming Decades. The Planning Has The Following Objectives: I. Preliminary Investigation (Vu) Coordinated With All Those Involved And Capable Of Approval In Accordance With § 6 Vv-Wsv 2107. Ii. Design-Execution Documents (Draft-Au) Agreed With All Those Involved And Capable Of Approval In Accordance With § 8 Vv-Wsv 2107 Iii. Tender Documents In Compliance With Vv-Wsv 2102 For The Repaired Dam, The Stability Of The Dams With And Without Structures Must Be Proven In Accordance With The “Msd”. With The Help Of A Suitable Program System, The Seepage Line Is Calculated For The Dam Cross Sections To Be Calculated. The Knowledge Gained From Subsoil Exploration About Soil Stratification And Material Characteristics Is Used Here. The Calculated Seepage Lines Are Calibrated Based On The Measured Level Values In The Groundwater Measuring Points. With The Seepage Lines Determined In This Way, Slope Failure Calculations Of The Calculation Cross Sections Must Be Carried Out Using A Suitable Program System. Sensible Renovation Options Must Be Developed For Which Stability Can Be Verified. In Order To Standardize Operation And Maintenance, The Equipment Of The Dam Section Should Be Based On Renovation Measures That Have Already Been Carried Out On The Mew/Störwasserstraße. Design Drawings Must Be Created For Each Renovation Variant And A Cost Calculation And An Economic Feasibility Study Must Be Carried Out. In Order To Carry Out The Proof Of Profitability, In Addition To The Production Costs, The Durability Of The Selected Solutions And The Maintenance Costs Must Also Be Taken Into Account. Before The Renovation Options Are Developed, These Must Be Agreed With The Client. As A Result
