Works Of Art – Land Art Project - Borreberg - Designer Appointment. The Aim Of This Public Service Contract Is To Appoint A Multidisciplinary Design Team For The Design And Supervision Assignment Of The Realization Of The Land-Art Project Borreberg In Bilzen-Hoeselt. The Borreberg Is A Historic And Strategically Located Location On The Edge Of The City Center Of Bilzen. It Offers A Panoramic View Of Greater Bilzen And Acts As A Natural Connection Between The City Center And The Surrounding Demer Valley. The City Wishes To Transform This Unique Place Into A Tourist-Cultural Attraction, Where Art, Nature Experience And Tranquility Come Together. The Project Fits Within Bilzen-Hoeselts Broader Vision To Profile Itself As An Innovative, Sustainable And Culturally Valuable Tourist Destination, And Represents A Next Step In Strategic City Development. Due To The Proximity To The Center, An Economic Return Is Also Expected For Local Trade And Accommodation Providers. The Assignment Aims To Appoint A Design Team That Is Responsible For The Entire Process From Concept To Realization. This Includes: • Designing A Land Art Installation On The Borreberg, • Guidance During Implementation, • And Fulfilling All Administrative, Legal And Technical Obligations Associated With The Project. The Assignment Includes The Following Elements: 1. Design Proposal And Implementation Plan • A Visually And Substantively Substantiated Design For The Land Art Project, Including Vision, Meaning And Integration Into The Environment. • A Concrete Action Plan For Implementation, With Attention To: O Technical Feasibility; O Possible Deforestation (Both For Artwork, Environmental Construction And Construction Zone); O Phasing And Practical Implementation. 2. Nature Assessment • An Assessment Of The Design In Terms Of Landscape Integration, Ecological Impact And Nature Conservation. 3. Budgeting And Subsidy Options • An Estimate For Both The Concept And The Implementation, Including Research And Additional Costs. • Advice On Available Subsidies. In A Later Project Phase, Subject To Budget And Approval, The Candidate Is Expected To Be Able To, Among Other Things: • Draw Up The Specifications For The Demolition Of The Existing Borretoren And The Realization Of The New Structure; • Organization Of Participatory Moments With Local Residents; • Supervision Of Necessary Investigations, Including An Archaeological Investigation (Borreberg Is Located In A Recognized Archaeological Zone - Historic City Center Of Bilzen); • Preparation And Submission Of The Environmental Permit, Including Consultation With The Nature And Forest Agency; • Application For Subsidies And Preparation Of Associated Administrative Documents; • Study Of The Environmental Construction; • Preparation And Submission Of Building Application, Environmental Permit (Including The Complete Environmental Permit Application) And Environmental Permit; • Coordination Of All Studies And Coordination With The Safety Coordinator; • Obtaining Favorable Fire Service Advice And Accessibility
