Under Nandur Madhmeshwar Irrigation Sub-Division No. 2, for the Rabbi and Hot weather seasons of the year 2025–26, the following works are to be carried out under Irrigation section Nos. 6 and 7, between chainage No. 111 to 127 of the Nandur Madhmeshwar Canal: Welding of the gates of the distributaries, Collecting water applications and measuring the irrigated area during each rotation, Repair works on the main canal at DHPC as well as on Distributary Nos. 22 and 23 and other distributaries, Execution of general maintenance and repair works= ITEM 1-Dismantling the old lime concrete or cement concrete including stacking the material with all lifts etc.complete as directed. 2 ITEM 2-Excavation in all kind of soil including boulders upto 0.6 m diameter (0.113 cum) for canal, seating of embankment filters drains / catch water drains etc. And placing theformation of service road / embankment as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, dressingexcavated stuff neatly in dump area or forbed and sides to required level and profile etc. complete with lead upto 1 km and all lift as directed. 3 ITEM 3-Providing and laying rubble soling below foundation in layers including filling with rubble chips, murum etc. Complete (excluding royalty of material) 4 ITEM 4-Back filling up to ground level behind the canal structures etc. Complete (without royalty) with suitable materialof approved quality in layers not exceeding 20 cm without disturbing the structure etc. Complete 5 ITEM 5-Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-10 of trap/ granite / quartzite / graded metal forfoundation and bedding with Batching Plant & Transit Mixer including shuttering, placing, compacting, curing,etc. complete with all leads & lifts as directed 6 ITEM 6-Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-15 of trap / granite / gneiss / quartzite metal for RCC works of retaining walls, piers, abutments, etc. with Batching Plant & Transit mixer, includingshuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all leads & lifts as directed. 7 ITEM 7-Providing and fixing in position M.S. bar reinforcement for R.C.C. work as per detailed design and drawing including cutting, bending, hooking, and binding with wire etc complete. 8 ITEM 8-Providing and laying R.C.C. NP2pipeOf approved quality with all leads and lifts etc complete. 9 1) 600 mm dia. 10 ITEM 9- Excavation in hard murum including boulders upto 0.6 m diameter (0.113 cum) for canal, seating of embankment filters drains / catch water drains etc. And placing the excavated stuff neatly in dump area or forformation of service road / embankment as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, dressingbed and sides to required level and profile etc. complete with lead upto 1 km and all lifts as directed. 11 ITEM 10- Excavation in soft rock including boulders upto 0.6 m diameter (0.113 cum) for canal, seating of embankment filters drains / catch water drains etc. And placing the excavated soft rock neatly in dump area or forformation of service road / embankment as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, dressingbed and sides to required level and profile etc. complete with lead upto 1 km and all lifts as directed. 12 ITEM 11 - Excavation in hard rock of all toughness by blasting including boulders above 0.6 m dia (0.113 cum) minimising damage to side slopes of excavation in water prism area by adopting any one or combination of line drilling /pre-spliting / smooth blasting techniques and placing the excavated rocks neatly in approved dump area as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, levelling bed etc. complete with lead& liftsdirected. 13 ITEM 12- Providing and laying insitu cement concrete of grade M-20 of trap/granite/gneiss/quartzite/gradedmetal for RCC works of abutment, wingwalls,returns,transition walls,piers,columns,beamsandslabs,diaphragmwalls,road slabs trough (Box Culvert) trough for aqueduct,wearingcoat,etc.with Batching Plant and Transit mixer including centering, shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all lifts as directed.. 14 ITEM 13- Providing and laying insitu cement concrete of grade M-20 of trap/granite/gneiss/quartzite/graded metal for RCC works of abutment, wing walls, returns,transition walls,piers,columns,beam sand slabs,diaphragm walls,road slabs trough (Box Culvert) trough for aqueduct,wearingcoat,etc.withBatching Plant and Transit mixer including centering, shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all lifts as directed. 15 ITEM 14- Providing &Laying expansion/constuctionjoint with shalitex super expantion pad ( jute fibre 12 mm thick ) including sealling the joint with shalitex sealling compound etc complete as diterected ( for all slab thikness). 16 ITEM 15- Excavation for foundation including showing and strutting as necessary and dispositing off excavated stuff as directed in earth, soils of all types, sand, gravel, soft murum etc.complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 17 ITEM 16- Providing and laying polythene film of 031 properly manufactured from 100% virgin granules confirming to I.S. 2508-1984 with 1.5 to 2.5 m. package in rolls etc. complete as directed. 18 ITEM 17-, Providing casing embankment using selected pervious material from approved borrow area in layers including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, all other operations such as collection of material, spreading soil in layer of specified thickness, sorting out, breaking clods, levelling, sectioning edges / sides, watering, compacting each layer to density control of not less than 95 percent or as stipulated using vibratory compactor etc., complete with lead upto1 km for watering and lift upto 6 m. (Govt Land) 19 ITEM 18-Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-10 of trap/ granite / quartzite / graded metal forfoundation and bedding with Batching Plant & Transit Mixer including shuttering, placing, compacting, curing,etc. complete with all leads & lifts as directed 20 ITEM 19- Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-15 of trap / granite / gneiss / quartzite metal for RCC works of retaining walls, piers, abutments, etc. with Batching Plant & Transit mixer, includingshuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all leads & lifts as directed. 21 ITEM 20- Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-20 of trap / granite / gneiss / quartzite / graded metal for RCC works of abutment, wing walls, returns, transition walls, piers, columns, beams and slabs, diaphragm walls, road slabs trough (Box Culvert) trough for aqueduct, wearing coat, etc.with Batching Plant and Transit mixer including centering, shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. complete with all lifts as directed 22 ITEM 21- Providing and laying in situ M-15 (20 MSA)(28 days cube compressive strength not less than 15N/sqmm) grade cement concrete with clean, hard, graded aggregates for canal lining for side and bed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cleaning with batching plant and transit mixer placing in position, finishing with all slope of canal including centering, scaffolding, formwork, compaction, curing, by cutting grooves, filling with sealing compound and providing porous plugs preparation of sub grade etc. complete with all lifts etc. complete as directed 23 Bed lining 24 Side lining 25 ITEM 22-. Providing cohesive non-swelling (CNS) material lining to canals using selected material from approved borrow area"s (Private land-contractor"s own material) including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, spreading soil in layers of thickness not more than 150 mm including providing 20 cm or so (perpendicular to side slope) of extra pride, removing pride just prior to the placement of lining, breaking clods, watering, compacting to density control of not less than 95% of proctor density, dressing to required profile including cost of water etc. complete with lead upto 1 km for water and all lifts as directed. 26 ITEM 23- Providing and laying in situ mechanised lining in M-15 (20 MSA) (28 days cube compressive strength not less than 15 N/sqmm) grade cement concrete with clean, hard, graded aggregates for canal side and bed using vibrating cylindrical type mechanical paver including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cleaning with batching plant and transit mixer finishing with all slope of canal including centering, scaffolding, formwork, compaction, curing, by cutting grooves, filling with sealing compound and providing porous plugs preparation of sub grade etc. complete with all lifts as directed. 27 For bed lining 28 For side lining 29 ITEM 24- Providing and laying polythene film of 031 properly manufactured from 100% virgin granules confirming to I.S. 2508-1984 with 1.5 to 2.5m. package in rolls etc. complete as directed.. 30 ITEM 25- Carrying out the irrigation management activites by providing skilled/unskilled personnels to assist canal inspector or departmental stafff including taking the "Pani arj" from farmers, Measurements of irrigation crops under irrigation outlets from survey no./gut no./ pot hissa and recording on field books with keeping record of ater letout and gauages on registers during each rotation and distributi8ng the water assesments bills afer each season including each and every work related to irrigation management including to and fro conveyance and oher necessary aminities to staff etc completed as directed by engineer -in-charge. 31 A) irrigation through canal flow 32 B) irrigation through lift 33 ITEM 26- Providingfollowing machinaryas and where required as directed.. JCB 34 ITEM 27 - Prviding X Ray quality M.S. Welding in all positions with required number of runs for M.S. pipes internally and/or externally including gauging wherever necessary, fixing appurtenances and otheraccessories in connection with pipe laying work as per specification using electrodes having weld mark E7018 (Low hydrogen electrodes), including Surface preparation (i.e.removal of scale, cleaning etc)including all materials, labour, equipments, etc complete.
