The Flemish Social Protection Offers People In Need Of Care, Among Other Things, The Care Budget For The Elderly With A Care Need (The Former Allowance For Assistance To The Elderly), The Care Budget For Heavily In Need Of Care (Former Health Insurance) And The Care Budget For People With Disabilities. The Present Assignment Relates To The Care Budget For Heavily In Need Of Care, An Allowance For The Costs For Non-Medical Care, Provided By Facilities, Professional Care Providers Or Caregivers. People Who Think They Are Eligible For The Care Budget For The Person In Need Of Care Can Be Eligible For A Request To The Care Fund To Which They Are Affiliated. In Order To Be Able To Obtain An Approval Of This Application, One Must Be Affected By A Long -Term, Serious Reduced Self -Reliance. This Is, Among Other Things, Determined On The Basis Of An Assessment That Is Carried Out By Staff Members Of Facilities Authorized For This Purpose. Since 1 June 2021, The Degree Of Need For Care Has Been Determined On The Basis Of The Belrai Screener. There Is The Right To The Care Budget For Heavily In Need Of Care (Mantle And Home Care) With A Score Of At Least 13 Points Or At Least 5.5 Points On The Sum Of The Iadl And Adl Modules. An Independent Body (Hereinafter Referred To As The Audit Body) Checks The Indication Positions On The Belrai Screener That Have Made The Above Facilities. The Control Body Checks The People From The Sample File That The Agency For Trimestrial Provides The Control Body. The Audit Body Performs An Annual Contingent Of 3750 Assignments. The Present Assignment Has A Term Of 2 Years, Calculated From The Date Stated At The Closure. Following The Aforementioned Term, The Assignment Can Be Extended Twice By A Period Of 1 Year, On The Basis Of Article 57, Second Paragraph, Of The Public Procurement Act.
