Contract Award For Netzleitsystem Ewb Operates Several Production Facilities And District Heating Networks (High And Low Temperature). These Networks Have Been Continually Expanded And Self-Operated Over The Last 30 Years. As Part Of The “Expansion Of District Heating” Project, Ewb Is Expanding Its Low-Temperature Network And Bringing It Up To The Latest Technical Standards. Ewb Plans To Implement Additional Power Supplies In The Future. The New Network Control System Will Also Monitor And Control These Power Supplies. Existing Power Supplies Are Retrofitted And Migrated To The Network Control System.

For This Purpose, Intelligent Controls Are Being Installed At Various Points In The Network, Especially The Network Connections, With Which Ewb Hopes To Regulate The Network More Efficiently And In Line With Needs In The Future. This Requires A Higher-Level Network Control System That Is Responsible For Monitoring And Controlling The Distribution Network Infrastructure. It Communicates With The Production Control System In Order To Cushion Bottlenecks Or Surpluses With Load Management.
