    Contract Award For Procurement For The Gotthard Base Tunnel (Gbt) And Ceneri Base Tunnel (Cbt)

    The “Final Work Sa Cbt” Project To Secure The Gbt/Cbt System In Accordance With The Bav Requirements Of The Operating License, Which Has Already Been Awarded To Siemens Mobility Ag, Led To A Delay And Additional Expenses. This Direct Award Is Considered An Addendum For The Publications Of The Final Theses Sa-Gbt, Final Theses Sa-Cbt And Gbt-Release N, Which Were Published On May 21St, 2021, Notification Number 1198453, Or On February 16Th, 2023, Notification Number 1314639, And On September 26Th. 2023, Report Number 1365923, Were Published In Simap. The Sbb Was Commissioned And Financed By The Bav To Establish This Operational Suitability As Part Of The Sa Cbt Final Work So That The Planned Capacity And Functionalities Can Be Used. This Is Therefore A Follow-Up/Completion Order.
    The Additional Award Amount Consists Of Development Services In Accordance With Cenelec (Standard 50126) For The Adaptation Of The Tunnel Machine, Including The Resulting Adaptations To Existing And Upcoming Iltis Releases. A Portion Of The Award Amount Is Set Aside For Addendums And Change Requests And Is Only Invested When Necessary.
