Tenders are invited for External Service Provider for Individual MHPSS and Self-Care Sessions for Frontline Humanitarian Staff - Gaza Strip. Service Location: Gaza Strip Organization: Alianza por la Solidaridad ActionAid Spain (Alianza-AA Spain)Project: Integrated protection and promotion of the rights of women and girls SGBV survivors in the context of the humanitarian emergency in the Gaza StripFunded by: Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)Location: Gaza Strip [Khan Younis / Deir al-Balah], with remote modality as contingencyService period: [November 2026 February 2027]Deadline for submission: [20 October 2026, 16:00 Palestine time] About the assignmentAlianza-AA Spain invites qualified entities and individual practitioners to submit proposals for individual mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) and self-care sessions for frontline humanitarian staff working in GBV, MHPSS and protection services in the Gaza Strip. The service aims to provide a safe and confidential space that helps staff manage stress, prevent burnout and secondary trauma, and strengthen their coping and resilience. Scope of work: Deliver 50 individual MHPSS sessions to 10 frontline staff members, with an average of 5 sessions per participant. Conduct pre- and post-assessments using validated tools. Procure and distribute 10 individual self-care kits. Cover participants transport and refreshments. Ensure strict confidentiality, a risk protocol and referral to specialized services when needed. Submit an inception package, a mid-term progress note and a final report in Arabic and English. Minimum requirements Degree in clinical or counselling psychology or a related field (Masters preferred), with a valid professional licence where applicable. At least 5 years of experience providing individual psychological or MHPSS services, including at least 3 years in humanitarian or emergency settings. Proven experience in staff care, burnout prevention and support to helpers exposed to secondary trauma. At least one female practitioner available. Fluent Arabic and working English. Ability to operate in the Gaza Strip and to deliver sessions remotely when needed. How to applyApplicants must submit separate technical and financial proposals in PDF.
