Sacral Neuromodulation (Snm) Is Used To Treat Fecal Incontinence, Urinary Incontinence Due To Overactive Bladder, And Non-Obstructive Urinary Retention In Adult Patients. The Set Required To Implement Sacral Neuromodulation Therapy Includes Patient Electrode Cables, A Sacral Nerve Stimulator, Patient-Specific Mounting Accessories And A Patient Controller, With Which The Patient Adjusts The Treatment Settings, As Well As The Treating Units Software And Programming Device, With Which The Healthcare Professional Can Program The Neuromodulator, Monitor The Treatment And Make Necessary Changes To The Settings. The Procurement Has Not Been Divided Into Parts Because The Procurement Concerns The Entity Required To Implement The Treatment, Which The Provider Must Be Able To Offer In Its Entirety. A Request For Information And Market Survey (Fi/Ted E1) Have Been Made For The Acquisition. The Contract Period Is 4 Years. The Estimated Total Value Of The Acquisition For Four Years Is Approx. €1,500,000. The Number Of New Installations Per Year Is Approx. 25. Sacral Nerve Stimulation Treatment Generally Lasts The Rest Of The Patients Life, And The Equipment Is Not Intended To Be Replaced Unless It Breaks Or The Battery Requires Replacement. The Patient Electrodes And The Stimulator Are Linked To Each Other, And In Cases Where The Electrodes Placed On The Patient Impose Requirements On The Stimulator Being Used, The Contract Is Valid For The Time Being Due To The Need For Supplies To Be Available For The Lifetime Of The Patient. The Supplier Undertakes To Ensure Compatibility, Availability And Support Of The Stimulator, Patient Controller And Treatment Unit Software For The Lifetime Of The Patient Or As Long As The Device In Question Is In Clinical Use. In Cases Where The Patient Has The Device-Specific Patient Electrodes From The Previous Contract Period Installed, The Customer Can Also Purchase Consumables From Outside The Contract Products.
