Tenders are invited for Providing Safe and Timely Transportation to Humanitarian Personnel, Visitors, and Supplies for the Organization as Part of the Emergency Response following the Earthquake of June 24, 2026. The Holder will Ensure the Preventive Maintenance of the Assigned Vehicle, Compliance with Venezuelan Traffic Regulations, and Acteds Internal Road Safety Protocols during Travel in Greater Caracas and La Guaira. Closing Date: 11 Aug 2026 Type: Consultancy FUNCTIONS Transportation and Mobilization Operation Operate the assigned vehicle in strict compliance with the transfer schedule, times and instructions issued by the Logistics Department. Transport only authorized personnel, institutional partners and the organizations assets, respecting the prohibition of carrying people unrelated to the mission. Obey speed limits, national traffic regulations and road safety standards, adapting driving to terrain and weather conditions. Vehicle Maintenance and Condition Control Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil levels, coolant, brake fluid, fuel, tire pressure and general condition). Keep the vehicle clean inside and out at all times. Monitor the preventive maintenance schedule and immediately report any mechanical failures or anomalies to the Logistics Officer. Verify that the vehicle has the required safety equipment (first aid kit, current fire extinguisher, spare tire, tools and biosecurity kit). Registration and Administrative Support Complete and keep up to date the mobilization log (record of mileage, destination, purpose of the trip, driver and validation signatures). Record fuel consumption, lubricants, and maintenance performed in the assigned formats. Accompany and support in minor logistical and administrative tasks (delivery/collection of correspondence, parcels or local purchases) as required. Security and Regulatory Compliance Ensure the mandatory use of seat belts for all vehicle occupants before starting any journey. Immediately notify the Logistics Officer of any accident, security incident, or traffic violation that occurs while on duty. Keep your personal documents (ID card, drivers license, medical certificate) and the documents for the assigned vehicle up to date. Maintain the physical and mental fitness necessary to drive, respecting the zero-tolerance policy on the consumption of alcohol or medications that affect the nervous system. Requirements Required: High School Diploma or Diversified Secondary Education Certificate. Minimum three (3) years of verifiable experience as a corporate driver, preferably in international organizations or NGOs. 3rd grade drivers license (minimum) and valid Road Medical Certificate. Valid work permit in Venezuela. Solid knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics (gasoline and diesel) and road safety regulations. Full availability for daily transfers in Greater Caracas and La Guaira State Soft skills: Ability to work in a team, responsibility, commitment and punctuality.
