This programme aims to support the Royal Government of Cambodia (RCG) towards the Elimination of Artemisinin-Resistent Parasites of Plasmodium Falciparum Malaria by strengthen and scale up the most successful malaria control activities in Cambodia with particular focus on universal access to early diagnosis and treatment services; preventing the use of mono therapies and substandard drugs in the public and private sector; preventing the transmission of artemisinin resistant malaria parasites among target populations including mobile migrant populations by mosquito control, personal protection and environmental manipulation; comprehensive behaviour change communication (BCC), community mobilisation and advocacy; and effective management and coordination to enable rapid high quality implementation of the elimination strategy. UNOPS is the Principle Recipient of the single-stream of funding grant and as such will oversee prevention, care and treatment activities and passes on funding to other organizations (sub-recipients) who provide these services
