The project concerns the financing of investments relating to the reconstruction, expansion of capacity and improvement of the environmental performance of the HALIOTIS wastewater treatment plant. This station is operated by Eau dAzur and treats the majority of wastewater from the Nice Côte dAzur Metropolis.
Objectives
The project aims to improve wastewater treatment for approximately 550,000 inhabitants of the Nice Côte dAzur Metropolis, with a nominal capacity of the future installation of 680,000 Inhabitant Equivalents.
Comments
Through this EAU dAZUR project demonstrates its intention to adapt to climate change. Furthermore, the amount financed for the project by the Bank is estimated between 150 and 250 million euros for a total cost which could amount to 850 million euros.
