This annual workshop facilitates information exchanges and discussions among member economies, international energy organisations, and the EGEDA on the current developments in energy data and statistics. It will be held in person in Tokyo, Japan.
The 2024 workshop aims to understand if the participants are able to keep up with the development of emerging energy products and technologies such as hydrogen, district cooling, grid-scale electricity storage and next-generation vehicles in collecting data. In addition, this workshop will deep dive into the efforts made by the participants in collecting energy efficiency indicators and renewable energy data from the methodologies learned in past workshops. A Project Summary Report of the workshop will be produced and shared with the EGEDA and EWG members and uploaded to the EGEDA website. |
