Respiratory tract infections are long-term problems we have to address. This project focuses on infections caused by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and fungi. Specifically, it deals with multidrug-resistant bacteria that leads to nosocomial infections, mycobacterium tuberculosis (a bacteria that causes TB), and Candida auris which is a fungal infection that can cause serious illness in people who are taking strong antibiotics. As China’s National Center for Respiratory Medicine, a top facility for managing such disorders, the China-Japan Friendship Hospital will invite participants from 11-14 member economies to China, where they will meet together to share their experience. Organized in the form of a seminar and a workshop, this program will have a select group of experts to give keynote speeches and share best practices. Furthermore, a technical guideline/consensus is expected to be developed at the conclusion of the gathering. With live streaming available for viewers who are interested in the topic, this hybrid forum will be held in Kunming, Yunnan province. |
