EUR 25m loan to Center Val de Loire Energies in order to boost the energy renovation market for homes in the Center Val de Loire territory (“the Region”). The EIB loan will allow Center Val de Loire Energies to provide technical support and participate in the financing of housing renovation. This operation is being carried out within the framework of the “French EE Private Housing” Program (2015-0188). This project is part of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings (“SFSB”) initiative, a joint initiative of the EIB Group and the European Commission aimed at supporting energy efficiency investments in buildings.
Objectives
Center Val de Loire Energies ("CVDLE") aims to make private owners aware of the need to renovate their homes, to have an energy audit and to support them in the design and implementation of energy saving works. energy with quality, efficiency and energy optimization objectives. CVDLE aims to ensure a role of "trusted third party" both vis-à-vis the public and professionals from the various sectors of activity who contribute to carrying out building renovation operations.
