| Project Name | Tourism Trails in the Pearl of Africa |
| Project Detail | This “Tourism Trails in the Pearl of Africa” impact cluster will be focused on three main themes: 1) improving services provided through upskilling the existing workforce; 2) improving the products provided through product development and diversification in adventure and cultural tourism; 3) increasing the awareness among tour operators and potential tourists about adventure and cultural tourism in Uganda. In the timeframe 2020 - 2022 the Impact Cluster Tourism Development Uganda will focus on implementing the following interventions: I. Developing Cycling Tourism II. Developing Motorcycle Tourism III. Developing Running Tourism IV. Developing Hiking Tourism V. Developing Cultural Tourism VI. Tour Guide Training VII. Advanced In-Service Hospitality Training Each of these pillars will be led by one of the consortium partners, yet most of the pillars are closely linked to each other and there will be significant collaboration between the different partners and across the pillars. |
