Large companies and organisations worldwide spend the majority of their IT budget on maintaining and managing their IT sourcing activities. The main reason for the adoption of non-automated, decentralised and ineffective processes is ITSM ecosystems with multiple vendors and clients. This means more manual operations, higher operational costs, and inefficient client service. Also, the quite exclusive activities on the operational level neglect the strategic ones. The EU-funded ONEIO project proposes the first software as a service (SaaS) cloud-based solution that offers secure, flexible and trustworthy service integration for any IT service process. The project advances a cost competitive all-inclusive service that does not demand special maintenance costs, software and hardware investments, or complex integrations. |
