Department of Transportation is proposing roadway improvements to a 1.25-mile section of U.S. 19/74/64/129 from about three-quarters of a mile southwest of Murphy to Hiwassee Street in Murphy. Improvements could involve increasing lane widths, adding turn lanes, raised medians and removing driveways to address traffic congestion and to improve the overall safety and traffic flow. |
