6.JUSTIFICATION OF THE PROJECT:
The master plan of the interconnected electricity network of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), established in 2004 and revised in 2011 and 2018, identified the priority projects whose realization is necessary for sustainable integration. national networks in the ECOWAS Community, with a view to facilitating trade and trade in electricity between Member States. One of these projects to be implemented with the support of the West African Electricity Exchange System (WAPP) is the coastal artery which aims to establish a strong link between the networks of the Côte dIvoire. Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria.
One component of the coastal route is the development of the 330 KV interconnection line between Côte dIvoire and Ghana. In conjunction with the CLSG project (Côte dIvoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone Guinea) currently under development. The 330 KV interconnection of Côte dIvoire and Ghana would link the power grids from Nigeria to Guinea, thereby facilitating the WAPPs vision to have an infrastructure capable of supporting the regional market. electricity.

Main activities :
1. Construct a 330KV Bingerville-Dunkwa 2 double-dyed line of about 245 Km and a 400KV Bingerville-Akoupé-Zeudji double-line line of about 50 Km
2. Create a 330/161 KV substation with two 200 MVA transformers at Dunkwa2, a 330/225 KV substation with three 350 MVA transformers in Bingerville, and a 400/225 KV substation with three 350 MVA transformers in Bingerville. .
3. Extend the Akoupé-Zeudji station to 400KV
