Work Detail The National Electricity Company and the Jordan Islamic Bank have signed two agreements under which the bank will provide loans amounting to 334 million dinars in accordance with the Murabaha sale order for the purchase order to finance the companys needs. The agreements were signed by the Director General of the National Electricity Company, Eng. Amjad Al Rawashdeh and the Director General of Jordan Islamic Bank Musa Shehadeh, in the presence of Assistant General Manager of the National Electricity Company Kamel Al Attout, Deputy Director General of the Islamic Bank of Jordan Dr. Hussein Saeed and the Executive Directors of the Finance Department. Al-Rawashdeh said in a press statement on Sunday that the two loans on concessional terms and competitive interest, noting that the first loan worth 227.5 million dinars while the value of the second loan 150 million dollars. Al Rawashdeh expressed his pride in the strategic partnership between the National Electricity Company and Jordan Islamic Bank, which provided financing solutions to the companys needs to contribute to supporting its march, which is reflected in the service of citizens and the national economy. For his part, Shehadeh said that the continuation of the Islamic Bank of Jordan to provide financing to the National Electricity Company confirms the continuity of our bank in the management of major financing operations of various national institutions in various sectors according to one of the Islamic financing and investment methods applied by the bank according to the formula of selling Murabaha for the purchase order, Economic and social development. He added that the funding comes as a continuation of the banks funding series for local and national electricity companies in order to ensure the banks economic responsibilities to support the national economy, its official institutions and activities that have a significant impact on the life of society as a whole and on the national economy.
