Please Read The Following Completely And Carefully Paying Attention To All Requirements And Dates.Cbc/Radio-Canada Is Seeking Proposals In Response To Its Request For Proposals (&Ldquo;Rfp&Rdquo;) For Production Intercom Systemsan Agreement Resulting From This Rfp May Be For Four (4) Years With Three (3) Irrevocable Option(S) To Extend For Two (2) Year Period(S).1. Summary Of Required Goods/Services:The Scope Of Supply Covers Multiple Areas (Modules 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3), As Outlined Below.Proponents Are Strongly Encouraged To Submit Proposal(S) For Multiple Modules As Outlined Below. Each Module Will Be Evaluated Separately And Collectively Which May Result In An Award Of One Or More Contracts.Cbc/Rc Is Looking To Potentially Award One Or More Contracts To One Or More Proponents Based On Cbc/Rc Evaluations.It Is Anticipated That These Modules May Service That Will Require Integration With The Other Noted Modules.Proponent Is Free To Propose One Or More Modules, With The Proponent:I) Responsible For And Assisting With Integrating Those Modules Including Those Of Any Sub-Contractors.Ii) To Provide Technical Assistance To Support Integration With 3Rd Party And Cbc/Rc Internal Systems.Cbc/Radio-Canada Is Seeking:A Production Intercom System That Supports The Toronto Broadcast Centre And Connected Locations And Their Users Together. The System Must Function Seamlessly Through Existing Media Network Architecture Within A Layer 3 Deployment For Both Signal And Control Layers. Matrix, Controller And/Or Core Devices Are Compliant With All Security Requirements Within A Growing Digital Media Landscape.Physical Hardware Panels That Are Compliant To The Smpte-2110-30, Smpte-2110-31 And/Or Ravenna Aes67 Offering Full Redundancy Through The Smpte-2022-7 Standard. Control Communication Is Also Fully Redundant.A Software Intercom Panel Solution That Is Similar In Nature To The Traditional Intercom Panel Broadcast Media Users Have Been Accustomed To. This Service Should Be Available On Mobile Devices As An Application Available Through An Approved Application &Lsquo;Store&Rsquo; And A Desktop Client. Ideally, The Desktop Solution Is Available As A Thin Client Web Page.The Server For The Software Client Is Compliant With All Security Requirements Needed For Delivering Connectivity Outside Of The Business&Rsquo; Network. The Software Complies With All Anti-Virus And Security Practices Without Concessions.Wireless Intercom System That Can Be Deployed Using The Existing Spine And Leaf Architecture For Access Point/Antenna Connectivity Supporting. Access Points Can Support A Minimum Of 10 Floor Packs And Offer Robust Range With Compression Codecs That Minimize Latency For Users At Both Communication Points.Numerous Frequency Options For Access Points Are Preferred. Power Over Ethernet Antennas Would Create Quicker Deployment Windows.Physical Dials For Volume And Talk Functions Are Preferred To Maximize Response Time For Users In The Event Of Feedback Or High-Volume Sources Through The Speaker.Note: Each (All) Of The Mandatory Requirements Below Apply To All The Modules (1.1, 1.2 & 1.3). 2. End Points Are Defined By A Regional Building And The Individuals Inside It.2.5The Proposed System Must Support Multi-Tier Management Privileges For Configuration And Operation.2.6The Proponent Must Demonstrate That: Media Over Ip Sources And Control Functions Must Natively Operate Within A Layer 3 Network Without The Use Of A Physical Gateway Device Or Translator. The Layer 3 Functionality Must Also Operate With Backup Resiliency For Control Communication, Media Streams And Management Functions. A Proposed System Must Be Able To Perform When Isolated Through A Vlan (Virtual Lan).
