D/S Hestmanden Will, In The Period Autumn 2024 To Spring 2025, Undergo Main Classification In Accordance With The Norwegian Maritime Directorates Rules For Protected Passenger Ships. The Ship Will Be Docked, Painted In Its Entirety, And Carry Out Several Class And Maintenance Jobs In Dry Condition. Docking Must Be Carried Out In September 2024. The Ship Will Be Inhabited By Crew If Docking Takes Place Outside The Kristiansand Area, And It Must Be Allowed For Both Employees And Volunteer Crew To Carry Out Work On Board During Docking. The Vessel Is Expected To Bring Approx. 1 Meter Aft Trim. Weights In The Bow Area Of 36 Tonnes (Changed Figure From The Indicative Announcement) Are Needed To Achieve Approx. 0.5 Meter Aft Trim. These Weights Can Be A Combination Of Solid And Liquid (In Water Bags). The Tenderer Must Inform About The Maximum Permitted Trim When Docking. Correct Technical Knowledge Is Required When Docking And Undocking, As Well As For All Work To Be Carried Out On Board, Including Riveting. There Is A Requirement For Access To Shore Power, Min 63A. This Can Be 230 Volts, And Alternatively 400 Volts. It Must Also Be Connected To Water. There Are Separate Sewage And Oil Water Tanks, Vam Takes Care Of Emptying These.
