Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Flight Noise Recording And Its Evaluation From July 1St, 2024. On Behalf Of The Ministry For Climate Protection, Environment, Energy And Mobility (Mkuem), The State Office For The Environment (Lfu) Is Responsible For Recording Noise Emissions From Flight Operations. The Following Three Measuring Points (Or Aircraft Noise Monitoring Devices) Are Currently In Operation: - Mainz-Weisenau Measuring Point (Measurement Started In April 2011) - Mainz-Laubenheim Measuring Point (Measurement Started In July 2012, New Measuring Site From October 2023) - Mainz-Universitätsmedizin Measuring Point (Measurement Started In January 2013 ) Measurement Operations At The Mainz-Laubenheim Measuring Point Were Discontinued At The Original Location In April 2022 Because The Private Building Used For The Measuring Point Was No Longer Available. With The Mainz Business Company, A Suitable Location Was Found On The Grounds Of The Mainz-Laubenheim Cemetery (Roof Of The Cemetery Hall). In October 2023, Measuring Operations Continued There, Not Far From The Previous Measuring Point. At The Time The Service Description Was Created, There Were No Other Locations For Setting Up New Measuring Points. On Behalf Of The Mkuem, As Part Of This Procedure, The Continuation Of Measurements At The Mainz-Weisenau, Mainz-Universitätsmedizin And Mainz-Laubenheim Locations Is Being Put Out To Tender For Two More Years Of Operation From July 1St, 2024 With The Option To Set Up Additional Measuring Points. Since July 1, 2020, The Detected Aircraft Noise Events Have Been Assigned To Specific Aircraft Movements Based On Recorded Flight Data (A So-Called Identification). Air Traffic Overflights From And To Frankfurt Am Main International Airport (Iata Code: Fra) Are Primarily Assigned To Noise Events And Classified Into Arrivals And Departures Or Traffic Patterns. In Addition, Noise Events Relating To Other Air Traffic Are Also Identified And Classified, As There Are Also Smaller Airfields Or Helipads In The Area Surrounding The Measuring Points, Or Noise Events May Be Triggered By High Overflights That Are Connected To More Distant Commercial Airports. The Advertised Service Also Includes The Acquisition And Evaluation Of Radio Signals And Other Flight Data. The Data On Exposure At The Measurement Site Must Be Related To The Data On Air Traffic. The Service Is Provided In Accordance With The Relevant Guidelines. The Operation Of The Aircraft Noise Monitoring System, Including The Measurement Procedures As Well As The Evaluation And Assessment Of Aircraft Noise, Must Be Carried Out In Accordance With Din 45643 (Measurement And Assessment Of Aircraft Noise) From February 2011 (Hereinafter Referred To As Din 45643), Unless There Are Express Deviations From This Below Required By This Standard. Terms Are Used In The Service Description In Accordance With Din 45643.
