The Project Involves Replacing Four Bridges (Bru0201, Bru0218, Bru0215 And Bru0295) And Two Quay Walls (Gbw0103 And Kbs0101). The Lifespan Of The Structures Has Expired, So Safety Can No Longer Be Guaranteed. After Research And Inspection, It Has Become Apparent That Replacement Is Necessary Because The Technical Condition Of The Structures Is No Longer Sufficient. All Objects Are Located In The Red Light District With A High Degree Of Historically Valuable Canal Houses With Monumental Status. This Is An Important Point Of Attention For Implementation. The Objects Themselves Also Have A Historic Character That Should Be Preserved As Much As Possible For The Protected Cityscape Of The Municipality Of Amsterdam. To Provide A Better Picture Of The Nature And Complexity Of The Assignment, Each Object Is Explained Separately In The Scope And Context Document (Appendix 3 To These Guidelines). The Ambition Of This Project Is: To Achieve The Highest Possible Social Impact Within The Project Goals, With Attention To Sustainability, Cost Awareness And Safety. The Following Project Goals Have Been Formulated For This Ambition: • Have The First Bridge Under Construction By 2025. • Efficient Replacement Of Bridges And Quay Walls. • Promote Cooperation For The Smooth Running Of The Projects.
