The General Objective Of The Project, Also Stated In The Feasibility Study, Is: The Construction Of A New Building For The Municipal Hospital Dr. Teodor Andrei Lugoj, To The Current Quality Standards And In Accordance With The Best International Practices, To House Both The Specialties That Operate Today In The 16 Pavilions At Strada Gheorghe Doja, No. 36 (Their Relocation), As Well As Other Spaces Necessary For The Smooth Running Of The Clinical Activity, In Order To Offer Quality, Integrated Medical Care Services. Following The Implementation Of The Project And The Achievement Of The Investment Objective, The Municipal Hospital Dr. Teodor Andrei Will Offer Diagnostic Services And Medical Care At High Quality Standards, Comparable To The Best Contemporary European Models, Safe, Specialized And Integrated Services, Both In Continuous Hospitalization And In Outpatient And Day Hospitalization. According To O.U.G. No. 162/2008 Regarding The Transfer Of The Set Of Attributions And Powers Exercised By The Ministry Of Health To The Local Public Administration Authorities, The Medical Assistance Management Of The Municipal Hospital Dr. Teodor Andrei Lugoj Was Taken Over By The Lugoj Local Council. The Hospital Operates With Funding From The Timiș County Health Insurance Agency, Ministry Of Health And Other State Budgets. Through The Proposed Project, It Is Aimed To Relocate And Group The Specialties That Operate Today In The 16 Pavilions, Together With Other Spaces Identified As Necessary For The Smooth Running Of The Clinical Activity, Including Related Functions, In A New Building Within The Municipal Hospital Dr. Teodor Andrei Lugoj, To Meet Current Quality Standards And Requirements And Facilitate Integrated Approaches To Health Services. For This Objective, It Is Necessary To Demolish Pavilions C2-C8 And C10-C16. Pavilion C1, A Building With Historical Value And Representative Function, Will Be Preserved, Rehabilitated And Reorganized. Pavilion C9, Which Currently Houses The Psychiatric Ward, Is Planned To Be Rehabilitated In Another Project. And Is Not The Subject Of This Procedure. The Rehabilitation Of Pavilion C9 Will Be Considered When Developing The Technical Project And Execution Details, Especially With Regard To The External Arrangements And The Dimensioning Of The Utility Networks. The Capacities Of The New Dr. Teodor Andrei Municipal Hospital, Lugoj, Are Made Up Of: The Continuous Hospitalization Sector, Day Hospitalization, Day Surgery, Ambulatory Care Area, Diagnostic And Treatment Services Area. The Hospital Will Also Have An Emergency Department, Operating Room With 5 Rooms, Anesthesia And Intensive Care Service And Related Functions.
