Construction Of A Water Re-Use System At The Ministry Of Natural Resources And Forestry’S (Mnrf) Dorion Fish Culture Station, 800 Fish Hatchery Road, Dorion, Ontario. The Principal Aspects Of The Work Involve Tapping Into The Existing Concrete Discharge Flume, Connecting A Gravity-Feed Pipe To A New Pump Station, Construction Of The Pump Station And Installation Of The Pump, Installation Of A Force Main From The Pup Station To The Existing Aeration Building, And Installation Of A New Aeration Tower Into The Aeration Building (The Mnrf Has Already Purchased The Tower And It Is Onsite). The Work Will Include The Supply And Installation Of All Construction Materials As Well As The Necessary Mechanical, Electrical And Control Components, As Defined In The Drawing Package And Project Specifications. Scope Of Work Engineered Design Of The Water Re-Use System And Installation Of The Third Aeration Tower And Lho Is To Include, Effluent Channel Alterations, Install A New Pump Sump Adjacent To The Effluent Flume Between The Asphalt Driveway And The Spring Creek Discharge Flume. Alter The Existing Effluent Channel, Which May Include A Diversion Pipe To The New Pump Station And Install Stop Logs In The Main Effluent Channel To Assist In Diverting Fcs Effluent Water Into The Pump Sump. A Buried Plastic Pipe (Hdpe Or Sdr) Is Required To Carry The Pumped Water From The Pump Sump To The Third Aeration Tower In The Existing Aeration Building, Located Approximately 120 Meters To The Northwest Of Effluent Discharge Point. Particular Emphasis Is To Be Placed On Construction Requirements And Operations Due To The Presence Of Buried Infrastructure Along The Route Of The Force Main.
