Polluted Soil Treatment Or Rehabilitation – Tender For A Contract For Cleaning Up After A Spill Of Jetfuel. The Norwegian Property Agency Hereby Offers A Contract For Cleaning Up After A Spill Of Jet Fuel At Karup Airport (Hereinafter Referred To As The Contract). The Contract Includes Cleanup Of Oil Contamination At Tank 925 At Karup Airport. Cleaning Must Be Done To An Extent Where The Tanks In The Area Do Not Have To Be Excavated. This Means That Pollution Is Potentially Left Between And Under The Tanks, Which Is Related To The Oil Pollution In Question. This Is Therefore A Requirement For A Partial Clean-Up, Which Is Estimated To Be >95% Of The Amount Of Oil Spilled. An Area Of 650 M2 Must Be Excavated. Excavation Of Contaminated Soil Must Be Done To An Average Of 2 M Below Ground (Corresponding To Approximately 2,600 Tonnes). Finally, New Bottom Protection Gravel Is Driven In And Built In, And The Top Is Finished With Nutrient-Poor Clean Moorland (Corresponding To A Total Of Approximately 2,600 Tonnes). The Contract Has Chosen To Offer The Entire Contract Together, Which Is Why The Danish Property Agency Will Only Enter Into A Contract With One Supplier. The Danish Property Agency Has Thus Chosen Not To Divide The Contract Into Smaller Sub-Agreements, Which Is Justified By The Scope Of The Contract And The Fact That The Contract Must Be Carried Out Over A Relatively Short Period. The Contract Has An Estimated Value Of Approximately Dkk 2.45 Million. The Estimated Value Of The Contract Is Based On An Estimate Prepared By An External Technical Advisor, And It Is Thus An Expression Of The Norwegian Property Agencys Best Estimate Of The Value Of The Contract.
