Quotation are invited for Vending Machines-Rev 00. Deadline for questions and answers March 26, 2024 Deadline for receiving offers April 3, 2024 AUB is requesting offers from qualified service providers for the provision of providing 30 vending machines for AUB Campus as per the below scope; the estimated revenue per month may vary between $1,500 and $5,500/ day depending on the semester and peak days. Contractors shall install free of charge self-dispensing automatic vending machines on Campus and in all faculties including the Faculty of Medicine Saab Medical Library and the Faculty of Nursing (HSON) in the areas designated and approved by AUB. Items sold include pre-packed healthy snacks and drinks and other items as follows: Snacks: various types of chocolate bars, biscuits, salty snacks, sweets, nuts, refreshments, bottled water and nibbles Fresh sandwiches and salads Beverages machines including Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soft rinks Fresh juices, bottled water Pens, Sanitary napkins Contractors shall provide the price list of items to be approved by AUB. Some items will have a fixed price such as water. Contractors shall maintain services and replenishment of machines all times; Replenishment schedule shall be at least three times daily during weekdays AUB working hours and one time daily during weekends. The Contractor is encouraged to use recyclable materials in most packaging. Some machines might need some machines need extension, elevation, etc Contractors shall assume liability for loss or damage occurring to their own staff, third parties, AUB property, or the contents of the machines including theft, break down, fire, vandalism, etc. Contractors shall retrieve the money on a daily basis and at the end of each month in the presence of representatives from AUB, shall record the counter of each machine and shall countersign the count. Contractors shall present proof of all accounting information and/or counter recordings upon request. Contractors shall post an emergency contact number on each machine in case of support or emergency. AUB shall, to the extent possible, make available electricity to the machines. Electricity cost shall be at AUBs expense. The contractor is expected to begin operating on June 1, 2024. Payment Methods: All machines have to accept paper money and return change, It is preferable to accept credit and debit card payments. Contractor shall maintain the vending machines at all times operational, Perform all maintenance works, and shall repair all damages caused by/to the machines, whatever is the cause, at their own expense and immediately. Hygiene and Cleanliness: A cleaning schedule for Internal delivery systems, filters, trays and all machine components shall be provided. Expiration date shall be affixed on all items. Proper and intact packaging of all products shall be installed. Contractors shall provide water for coffee machines (and other machines requiring portable water, if any). Water shall be portable, factory sealed, and from a reputable brand accepted by AUB. Machines should have temperature display. Contractors shall install in priority new CE approved machines.
