Construction Work For Water Projects – Contract For Works To Rehabilitate The Flood Gates Of The Lavalette Dam. The Lavalette Dam Is Equipped With A Flood Spillway Equipped With 4 Flood Gates, Named Vc1, Vc2, Vc3 And Vc4, With A Unit Capacity Of 500 M3/S, Allowing A Total Flow Of 2000 M3/S To Be Evacuated. Following Diagnostics Carried Out On The Vc2, Vc3 And Vc4 Valves, It Was Concluded That It Was Necessary To Replace These Valves Deemed Defective. The Vc1 Valve Was Installed In 1994, And The Other Valves Were Put Into Service In 1950. The Work Envisaged Is: - A Replacement Of The Vc2, Vc3 And Vc4 Valves; - A Renovation Of The Vc1 Valve; - A Renovation Of The Technical Rooms Of The Batteries; - Creation Of Access Stairs To The Valve Bearings; - Repair Of Localized Damage To The Batteries
