Åbo Akademi (Later The Customer) Requests An Offer For Moving Transport Services Performed By The Supplier Itself Or Using Its Subcontracting Network To The Extent Specified By The Customer. During The Contract Period, The Following Relocation Sites Are Currently Known (Preliminary Plan): • Åbo Akademi Library (Approx. 3,400 M2) 2025 And 2027 (Back) • Astra (Approx. 7,000 M2) 2025-2026 • Agora (Approx. 1,000 M2) 2026-2027 • Fesj (Approx. 2,000 M2) 2026-2027 During The Contract Period, There May Be Other Individual Moving Needs That Will Be Specified Later. Most Individual Moves Take Place As Follows: The Customer Contacts The Supplier When The Need To Move Arises. The Customer Provides The Supplier With The Necessary Information (E.G. What To Change, Addresses). The Reporter Is Also Given The Opportunity To Visit The Site. The Supplier Draws Up A Plan That The Customer Accepts. The Plan Confirms The Size Of The Team, Who Acts As The Foreman And The Size Of The Removal Trucks. The Foreman Must Remain The Same Throughout The Move. The Customer Usually Packs The Moving Goods Himself. Moving Boxes Will Be Brought To The Location In Advance. Individual Moves Usually Require One Foreman And Four Movers And One Large Moving Truck (Excluding Library And Archive Moves). Moves Mainly Take Place Within The Turku Region, But Moves Elsewhere In Finland Are Also Possible. Items To Be Moved Can Include, Among Other Things: • Office Supplies (Including It And Av Items) • Research Equipment And Laboratory Supplies (No Chemicals) • Office Furniture • Library Books Moves Are Generally Carried Out On Items Mon-Fri Between 6Am And 6Pm. The Supplier Must Also Be Ready For Evening And Weekend Orders. When Ordering The Service, The Content Of The Service Is Specified For Each Assignment. The Agreement Applies To The Following Services: • Moving Services Between Properties • Planning And Scheduling Of The Move • Internal Moves In Properties • Dismantling, Stacking And Protecting Loose Furniture For Moving Readiness • Protecting The Surfaces And Corners Of Objects To Be Moved From Damage And Protections • Removal And Disposal • Boxes, Roller Shutters, It And Transfer Cabinets For Av Equipment, Etc. • Small Installation Work, E.G. Screens, Removal Of Boards, Etc. • Library And Archive Transfers From Shelf To Shelf (Including Packaging Services) • Recycling Services If Needed • Resale Of Movables If Needed • Installation Services If Needed The Contract Is Temporary. The Goal Is For The Contract Period To Begin On May 9, 2024, However, So That The Agreement Will Only Come Into Force At The Time Of Signing. The Contract Is Valid For 2 Years And Also Includes A Two (1+1) Year Option. The Customer Informs The Supplier About The Use Of The Option No Later Than Three (3) Months Before The End Of The Contract. The Customer Does Not Commit To Specific Purchase Quantities During The Contract Period. The Customer Will Choose One Supplier Based On The Competition.
