Econsult Off Grid Solar E Waste Management Ewm ToolkitThe World Bank Is Recruiting A Firm To Develop An Off Grid Solar E Waste Management Toolkit The Toolkit Will Assist World Bank Project Teams Including Safeguards Specialists And Counterpart Governments With Assessment Of Environmental Risk In Off Grid Solar Projects And Development Of Appropriate Environmental And Social Framework Esf Safeguard Instruments And Policies The Toolkit Will Cover A Full Range Of Standalone Off Grid Solar Solutions Including Household Solar Lights And Home Systems Productive Uses And Electrification Of Public Facilities Mini Grid And Grid Scale Electrification Are Considered Out Of Scope The Task Will Be Global In Scope With The Toolkit To Be Tested In 1 3 Specific Countries Which Are Still To Be Determined The Work To Deliver This Toolkit Will Be Developed Under The Leadership And Contributions Of A Working Group Made Up Of Members Of The World Bank Energy And Extractives Practice As Well As Environmental And Social Safeguards Standards Specialists
