General Procurement Notice For Supporting Cost Of Living Measurements ProjectThe Central Bank Of Honduras Bch As Part Of An Ongoing Program Of Upgrading And Modernization Of Macroeconomic Statistics Develop The Enigh 2019 2020 It Will Be The Input For Statistical Information To Help Determine How Income Flows Received By Households Are Generated And How They Assign Them To The Demand For Goods And Services In The Consumer Market With The Results Of The Survey Weights Consumption Basket And Base Price Index Cpi Period Will Be Updated And Estimates Of The Institutional Sector Households As Producers And Consumers Will Be Improved Under The System Of National Accounts 2008 Scn2008 The Project Will Also Help The Design Under The Current Legal Framework It Is Up To The National Statistics Institute Ine Design And Develop Surveys Of This Nature And Complexity However Given The Magnitude And Importance Of This Project Country It Will Be Held In An Inter Related Matters Between The Bch And Ine In Order To Take Advantage Of Technical Specialties Of Each Institution In Its Design Implementation And Processing Making The Best Use Of Available Resources This Support Is Framed In A Technical Cooperation Agreement For The Development Of The Enigh Signed Between The Two Institutions On 14 May 2018 The Enigh 2019 2020 Project Includes The Following Components Component I Implementation Of Cost Effective And High Quality SurveysThe World Bank Grant Will Fund Pre Harvest Survey Training And Pilot Survey Logistics Activities And Technical Planning As Well As Technical Support And Services For Quality Monitoring Data For 2019 2020 Enigh Activities All In Order To Identify And Implement Cost Effective Methods To Improve Quality In Future Surveys Of This Nature In The Country This Support Will Complement The Technical Assistance Provided By The World Bank For The Sampling Design Questionnaires And Surveys Particularly Using Methodologies Capi Computer Assisted Personal Interviews In Lifting The Nationwide Survey For At Least Twelve Consecutive Months To Capture The Seasonality Of Income And Expenditure Patterns Of Households The Planning And Conceptual Design Of The Survey Will Be Coordinated By A Senior Consultant And Will Be Supported By International Institutions Directly Involved In The Statistical Development Of Countries So The Bch Will Provide Counterpart Funds For Such Technical Support Component Ii Support For Inclusion Through MeasurementsThis Donation Will Cover Relevant Costs To Include In The Survey Two Departments That Are Geographically Remote And Are Populated Mainly By Ethnic Minorities And Even Excluded Date Of All Poverty Measures Arising Price Index Cpi These Two Departments Are Gracias A Dios A Region Undeveloped And Mostly Inhabited By Indigenous People Ip And The Bay Islands Populated Mainly By Afro Hondurans In Particular The 2019 2020 Enigh Would Analyze The Suitability Of The Ipc And The Official Methodology Of The Basic Food Basket For These Regions
