Work Detail Carried out in partnership with the IDB, this program aims to support the Mechanisms for the Promotion of Women (MPM) of three countries (Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru) which aim to promote technological innovations to strengthen care and prevention VAW (especially in the context of the COVID-19 crisis), raise awareness of healthy masculinities and promote the empowerment of women. The specific objectives are: Improve the integration, expansion and management of healthcare services through the use of digital tools; Develop prevention programs for VAW that focus on promoting respectful gender relations; Strengthen knowledge of the effectiveness of the technology to reduce VAW in the region. IMPACTS Strengthening care and support systems through the implementation of technologies that reduce the barriers women face when seeking support. Development of innovative programs promoting healthy masculinities challenging gender norms that lead to violence. Documentation of good practices and evaluation of interventions.
