The Al Ain-Abu Dhabi Road will facilitate traffic flow and ensure smooth communication between the two cities
Etihad Rail is has marked the full opening of Al Ain-Abu Dhabi Road, partially operational since last September and set to be one of the main highways in Abu Dhabi.
Through a LinkedIn post, the UAE National Railway Network announced that the Al Ain-Abu Dhabi Road will facilitate traffic flow and ensure smooth communication between the two cities.
The UAE national rail passes over a bridge which was built in just 13 months, using approx. 10,000 cubic meters of concrete, 3,500 tons of reinforced steel, and 270 pieces of concrete beams.
Recently, the UAE government has launched the $13.6bn (AED50bn) UAE Railways Program, which is the largest integrated system for transporting goods and passengers across the country. |
