Of Chronic Malnutrition Which Manifests In Stunting In Children According To The 2016 Global Hunger Index Report 49 5 Percent Of Children In Png Are Stunted Among The Highest Prevalence Rates In The World Chronic Malnutrition Is Caused By A Condition Called Environmental Enteropathy In Which The Intestines Constantly Attacked By Faecal Pathogens Are Inflamed And Cannot Properly Absorb Nutrients The Lack Of Proper School Wash And Menstrual Hygiene Facilities Management Facilities Ultimately Affect Childrens Survival Health Nutrition And School Attendance And Ultimately Performance With Assistance From European Union 11Th Edf Unicef Is Supporting The Implementation Of The Png National Wash Policy 2015 2030 By Assisting The Government Of Png In Closing The Access Gap Through A Water Sanitation And Hygiene Project To Increase Infrastructure Coverage And Improve Hygiene In Up To 200 Schools 26 Health Centres To Affect Change In 4 Districts To Affect Change In 800 Communities By Helping Them Achieve Open Defecation Free Status And Improve Their Hygiene Practices In Addition The Project Is Intended To Create An Appropriate Enabling Environment And Institutional Framework At The National Level To Facilitate The Achievement Of The Intentions Of The National Wash Policy 2015 2030 A Supplementary Key Element Of The Project The Software Component Is The Advocacy And Awareness Raising In Favour Of Increased Support And Resources For Wash As Well As Improved Wash Related Behaviours Among The Population Children And Women This Proposed Communication Consultancy Is Intended To Support The Visibility And Publicising The Eu Unicef Wash Project At The National And District Levels As Part Of The Effort To Ensure Continuous Visibility For The Project In A Variety Of The Media During The Project Implementation Phase JustificationIn The Second Half Of The 2019 The Eu Unicef Wash Project Will Enter Its Second Phase During Which Actual Implementation Commences A Range Of Field For Use On Various Formats For Communicating About The Project3 Take Photographs From The Field To Be Used In Illustrating Stories And Other Publication For Electronic And Non Electronic As Well As For Use As Photo Stories And Photo Essays 4 Produce Regular Content Captions Photos And Videos For Special Media Of Facebook Twitter And Instagram Per The Project Social Media Content Dissemination Target 5 Support The C4d Specialist In Coordinating And Guiding Media Visits To The Field By Both Local And International Journalists To Highlight Unicef Work In The Field 6 Support Media Monitoring And Tracking Of Both Local Media Daily And International Media On A Regular Basis About The Eu Wash Project And Provide Daily Weekly Monthly Reports For Sharing With Partners Including The Eu7 Review And Regularly Update Contact Lists For The Media National And Provincial Implementing Partners Donors And Key Stakeholders 8 Support The Management Of Images Database For The Eu Wash Project Of Still And Video Images As Well As Audio Sound Bites And File Them For Easy Access And Sharing 9 Support In The Planning Organisation And Implementation Of Events Commemorations And Various Publicity
